We welcome you to join us!
This 4 part training is an adapted version of the University of Maine’s Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Study’s Transition Planning Curriculum. Over the course of 4 days we will explore the 7 modules created by CCIDS, and explore some of the resources and activities as a group.
This curriculum was created to provide families with useful information and tools to support their youth or young adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in achieving better transition outcomes. These strategies are based on effective evidence-based practices and research of positive transition outcomes
This training series was co-developed by Alan Kurtz, Ph.D., J. Richardson (Jay) Collins, MTS, MSW; and Janet May, M.Ed., M.S.
This 4 part series will be presented by Maine Parent Federation trainers Allison Wiest and Dylan Campbell.
