The Maine Department of Education has partnered with Lives in the Balance to provide free, evidence-based resources to all Maine schools working to reduce the use of restraint and seclusion. Lives in the Balance is a Maine-based, internationally renowned organization that uses the evidence-based Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model to help schools reduce their use of restraint and seclusion.
Join us on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:30AM as we host the Founding Director of Lives in the Balance, Dr. Ross Greene. Dr. Greene will provide information about how CPS works, how Lives in the Balance collaborates with schools, and how schools can learn about and access this free resource.
